If you want to know more about the prayer life of the church or find some links to some prayer resources then do look at the prayer page.

Sunday Mornings 10.30am:

We gather for worship as a church family for 20-30 minutes. The gathering then divides into specific activities for the children, young people and adults. We aim in our teaching and worship to be relevant to the needs of the culture in which we live whilst being part of the tradition from which we have come. We attempt with all ages to consider question ‘if this is the word of God how will, having heard it, my life be affected in the coming days.’ Around the Christian festivals such as Christmas, Easter, and Harvest, and at other times we gather as a whole community for both worship and exploration of the Word of God

Celtic Communion (6.30pm)  1st Sunday only:

We meet the first Sunday of each month to celebrate Communion. This is a time when we gather informally around the table, we use liturgies, meditations, bible readings and share bread and wine to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.  Much of what we do on a Sunday evening is Celtic in flavour. We would love for you to join with us even though we are often small in number it is a wonderful time of meeting with Jesus.

Communion:

Both Sunday Morning (usually 3rd Sunday) and Sunday Evening (1st Sunday) we invite all who are present to join us in taking Bread and Wine. We remind those present that it symbolises the death and resurrection of Jesus and that this is what followers of Jesus have done in every age. Being Baptist the congregation stays seated and the elements are brought to them, we share one large loaf and have individual cups for the wine.
