When we start to understand all that God has done for us, we can't help but respond in worship. God is the one who is worthy of all our praise, all our thanksgiving, all our adoration; He is worthy of all we are, offered joyfully and completely.

Therefore our worship aims to be heart-felt and total. We seek to worship, to ascribe worth to God, in all that we do and all that we are, relying on His Spirit at work within us to enable this to happen. Worship is a 24/7 expression of lives lived in and for God.

One aspect of this is when we come together as Christ's body to collectively rejoice in the presence of God and hear and receive His word for us today. We strive to achieve this through the following ways:

  • The use of both contemporary and traditions songs and hymns to express our love of God and the joy of His gospel.
  • Seeking to come around the Bible to learn more of God's grace and how it applies to us today.
  • Prayerful expressions of thanksgiving and adoration.
  • Intercessory prayer to uphold and seek blessing for the church fellowship, our local community and God's whole world.
  • Regularly celebrating the Lord's supper to remind us of the depth and breadth of God's love, to bind us ever closer together and to anticipate Christ's return.
  • Seeking the power and inspiration of God's Holy Spirit to challenge and equip us for service before God in His world.

We recognise that all are made in the image of God, whether 1 or 100 years old, and so we seek to create an atmosphere in which all can relax and be blessed by God's presence. For this reason we have a creche facility and various children's groups so they can learn about God in age appropriate ways, but we also love to worship together and make a joyful noise to our God!

You're more than welcome to come and join with us. We'd be delighted to see you.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Every Sunday, and at other times in the year, the fellowship gathers to celebrate the joy of knowing God and being known by Him; worshipping Him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our worship style is a blend of contemporary and traditional, but our desire is whole-hearted Spirit filled praise to God the Father through Christ our Lord. Come as you are and let God draw near to you.

PRAYER & FELLOWSHIP

As well as on a Sunday, CRBC recognises and celebrates the fact that the church is the fellowship of disciples and we love to get together. Prayer forms a integral part of the churches life, whether on a Sunday, in small groups or privately in our homes and is seen as the solid foundation of our life together in God. In addition, throughout the year we will gather on a Saturday evening to share a meal and pray for a specific issue or organisation the church supports.

SMALL GROUPS

Members of the church regularly meet together through the week in small groups to uphold and encourage one another, reflect on God's word and praise Christ our saviour. So whether in someones home or in the church building, come and join us as we explore our faith together and grow as His disciples.
Groups exist for all ages and backgrounds.

CHILDREN'S & YOUTH MINISTRIES

We just love children playing a full part in the fellowship and desire to see them grow, explore and discover the delight of Christ's love for them. Every Sunday there is age appropriate activities for them as well as holiday clubs and a group called TOG.COM for the youth of the church. Child protection is taken very seriously and we have active policies in place and all our key volunteers are trained to a nationally recognised standard (BUGB - Safe To Grow).
